This month, we’ve been talking about all things CDAP. If you’re new here, CDAP is the Canadian Digital Adoption Program, wherein the Canadian government has committed $4B in funding over the next four years to help Canadian businesses digitize their organizations.

WW Works is a certified advisor for Stream 2 of CDAP, Digitize Your Business Technology. This means that a digitization plan for your organization from WW Works is eligible for up to $15K in funding to cover 90% of a digitization plan.

Now that you’re up to speed- if you’re eligible for Stream 2 of CDAP and interested in learning more, below is our standard process for CDAP projects.

First things first- you are eligible for Stream 2 of CDAP if your organization:

  • is Canadian-owned
  • is for-profit
  • has 1 to 499 employees
  • has had at least $500,000 in annual revenue in 1 of the last 3 years

At WW Works, we begin the process with a 30-minute virtual meeting with our Director of Business Development to discuss on a high-level your organization’s IT requirements. This call allows both of us a chance to gauge if we are a good fit for your needs and determine if they are within the scope of both our capabilities and the CDAP qualifications.

If all goes well, we then prefer to conduct an on-site at your organization’s facility with one of our skilled technicians. However, we can also host this meeting virtually depending on your level of comfort and location. Conducting an in-depth analysis of your IT infrastructure and facility allows us to understand the granular details of what must be done to achieve your desired results, and provides the chance to evaluate any additional opportunities that could better your IT that may have gone unnoticed.

Once the on-site is complete and both parties decide the partnership is a good fit, we proceed with a CDAP proposal that outlines the details of CDAP and the role WW Works’ plays in this relationship.

From here, WW Works’ will prepare the digitization plan for your organization based on all the information we have gathered. This process typically takes around six weeks, with the expectation of frequent correspondence between both parties to ensure all questions and uncertainties are sorted. At the end of six weeks, we will have a completed plan and invoice to you to be submitted to CDAPOnce the plan is complete and we have reviewed it with you, we can then provide any additional assistance in regard to the digitization. If you choose to move forward with the plan, we would be happy to submit a proposal for the digital implementation.
